Tasty “Brötchen”
For those who do not know, Brötchen is German and somewhat similiar to buns or rolls.
Ingredients:
- 280ml water or milk
- 500g flour
- 1/2 tbs salt
- 1 tbs sugar
- 1 tbs butter
- 1 pck yeast
Instructions:
- Add all ingredients in that order into your bread maker. Pick the dough setting and let the bread maker work until the program is done.
- Turn oven on at 180°C to preheat.
- Take dough out and split into 9 pieces. Form them into a little ball and flatten with the palm of your hand. Put them onto baking paper. Cut a little bit cross-like into the top. Wet them with water now. Make sure they’re all nicely wet. Add a little water to the baking sheet, too.
- Put in oven for about 25 - 30 mins. Let cool and enjoy!
Note:
This recipe is also possible not using the bread maker. In that case, prepare the yeast dough with the ingredients above and move to step 2 after letting it rise.
