Brownies with Vanilla Ice Cream
Brownies:
Ingredints:
- 125g chocolate (any kind - as in easter eggs, bars of chocolate)
- 125g butter
- 2 eggs
- 125g sugar
- 4 drops vanilla extract
- 125g flour
- 50g chocolate powder (the one used for chocolate milk
- 125ml cream (German: Sahne)
Instructions:
- Put a pot filled with water on the stove, turn on and let water boil. On top, add a heat resistant bowl and add the chocolate and butter and melt both.
- Meanwhile, add sugar and eggs into a bowl and beat until fluffy. Add the vanilla. Preheat oven to 200°C.
- Mix chocolate powder and flower and add together with the cream to the egg-sugar-mixture while beating everything.
- Add the butter/chocolate mixture into the bowl and mix everything until well blended.
- Put batter into a greased pan, put into the oven for about 30 mins or until an inserted tooth stick comes out dry. Let cool
Vanilla Ice Cream:
Ingredints:
- 125ml milk
- 125ml cream
- 2 eggs
- 4 drops vanilla extract
- 50g sugar
- 75ml cream for later
Instructions:
- Cook milk and first part of the cream in a pot under low heat. Make sure it does not boil or burn.
- Meanwhile, separate eggs. Mix the egg yolk and the sugar until fluffy.
- Now add the mixtures under 1. and 2. into one bowl, cook at low heat while constantly beating for 5 - 7 minutes. Take off the stove.
- Add the 2nd batch of cream to the mixture. Let cook in the fridge until totally cooled off. Now add the mixture to the ice cream maker and let run until ice cream has the desired texture.
Now serve the brownies with the ice cream on a plate and enjoy!
