yesterday, we celebrated our anniversary. Two years married, who would have thought? Here’s what my DH got me:

I also got some yarn to knit Rogue, which I just had to start and modify to be a cardigan. The colour is off in the photo. I really like this pattern and the yarn. This is going to be very pretty.

.. I learnt for my tests and stitched and baked a bread. Really pleassed.

 Here’s doggy and the progress is quite much. I am so in love with the patterns, though I think the colour picks are a little bit weird. I changed the two darkest grey to something lighter as I thought it just looked too strange and stainy.

We also had some family cuddling time today. Guess the webcam is a good thing. I can always see what’s up behind me

.. coming soon We set up our tree, hung up my wall hanging and got the Santas out. It is pretty neat. More photos are here :)

I finished moving the store and now - FINALLY - figured out the issues I had with logging into my family photos. Now all there is to move is our forum gallery. Off to stitching and/or kniting.

I have no photos for you. I am sort of Santa’ed out .. if you know what I mean. I was trying to knit some on my socks, but only got a row done due to the constant anoyance (all my databases were completely gone at one point) and complaint tickets I go through with these servers. I hope they finally find the error and fix it soon. Meanwhile, if you get weird error message, just refresh until it loads fine. That’s what I am doing.

I do not know if anyone noticed or not, but in the sidebar is now a link to my wishlist as well as one to my STASH list. The later mentioned is by far not completed, but my Tatty Teddies are in there now.  More to follow soon. 

I am settling down with some hot wine now while watching some tv on the couch with hubby and bunny.

the fun never ends at our house Here’s the Jack-O-Lanterns Andy and I made. It was actually pure luck that we got some pumpkins. Yesterday when we went around and did not see a single one. Today, when we went to buy drinks we were lucky. There was a little market outside the supermarket and one of the booths had vegies .. and pumpkins

.. at our graveyard and spook cupcake. Aren’t they scary? I baked all the cupcakes, let them cool and then hubby and I added frosting an all other sort of decoration :)

.. well, not quite yet, but closing to it. As my long time blog readers and friends know, hubby and I married on the 15th September last year. Sorry that the back dated entry has no pictures anymore, I moved the gallery recently. Photos can be seen here, btw.

Anyway, since I will be in Instanbul on the 15th September hubby and I decided to just go ahead and celebrate tomorrow. We went out to buy gifts after we set the limit. The limit was rather low since money is rather tight. Soon we will be swimming in the big bucks *coughs, coughs* … Anyway, Andy picked two DVDs for himself and I got a wallet and chocolate.

Now finally on stitchy news: I have all models ready for the new release, but will have to do them in two batches. One tomorrow and one on Wednesday… not sure yet though. There will be 5 patterns on sale and one little freebie. Expect photos soon

.. I must go to Istanbul for 2.5 weeks starting next week - which will sadly include me not being there for my first wedding anniversairy and Aireen’s first death anniversairy :(  That’s a double bummer.

Today we will pack up the instruments, laptops etc, on Monday I will get my shots and Tuesday we drive to Stutgart to get our visas. And Thursday early morning we’ll take off.

I am a little bit excited, but also very nervous. I just hate flying and it gets worse every year, not talking about that I am not very much into the country they assigned to us. Maybe I can find a lovely XS store there and can cheer up for not being with my hubby for so long …

So ., please pray/send good vibes to me for a safe journey and time there. And be sure I will take about a trillion of photos … which I will keep uploading to my photo gallery.

I have not been on much, since I was trying to recover my hands by playing games and stitching a little bit a day. They still hurt pretty much, but getting better.  Sadly, the whole sickness things hugely threw me back in stitching, designing and working.

We got the money back for our broken bread maker and bought a new one from another company. So far it works alright, but ask me in a few weeks.

I also got the school thing sorted out which happenes to be a computer/database error. I am back in school.

I am usually sleeping fine, unless full moon is aproaching. Hubby on the other hand usually does not sleep too well. Last night, at around 1.30 AM I was woken up by some horrible thunderstorm. I went up to close the bedroom window and went back to bed. Then - after a while of me laying awake in bed - Snoopy started stomping in the living room aparently scared from the storm. I got up once more (without my glasses) and looked inside of bunny’s cage hoping to see him .. the funny thing was, there was a lightening right when I look and Snoopy was starring at me just like I was starring at him. Pretty strange moment. I told him that everything is ok and closed the living room window as well. Hubby did not wake up through all this. I couln’t believe it. It was so loud and bright!!!

Needless to say I am really tired today, but had to go to school to do a little report. We did not finish, but have 3 out of 11 steps done … I am afraid to have the easy steps done, though. After that, Andy and I met at the town center to go to costums. Andy had his video games for the Gamecube sent over and the customs wanted to see a bill. Luckily, I explained everything to that lady and she let us have it for free, without any problems Hubby was surely happy. After that we went out for lunch (Greek- yummy!!) and bought some office supplies.

Tomorrow is a test for me. It’s rather easy as I get to take all the papers, but hell … there’s a whole bunch of papers. I marked and organized, but can’t get around to really learn. I will just have to look at tomorrow morning when I am more awake. To make things worse, on Friday is another test I will have to write, but this time no helps allowed.

Being so tired, I did not really stitch (only one thread!!) .. tomorrow will be another RR day, so I can finish it before sent off. I will show a photo tomorrow.

Oh .. yes .. and I’d also like to thank everyone for their nice comments. Will post to them hopefully tomorrow *hugs*

Sort of. So much was going on the past few days, I felt like in a nut house. Really.

I made a trip to the bank and canceled another *useless* savings thing I had. Too bad. It was rather nice and had some lottery tickets added. Maybe when I work, we can have it again. I told the insurance company for a while that I want to have the insurance rest for a year, but they don’t listen or reply. I had to get the money back they took out of my account. Hope they get the message now.  

Anyway, I just finished my designs .. four patterns, one price. This time it is really cool. I just suck with tape covers, but in the picture it looks alright, so that’s all that matters I put it for display in our closet.

I will take a shower now, get ready and then see when Andy and  I will be able to go to the library and custom …

I am still around, been *blessed* with bad headaches the past two or three days. On Sunday, we cut hubby’s hair. He looks so handsome now   Too bad the only pic I took has hubby making a face while Snoopy is sitting on his lap.

I managed to finish the stitching and the finishing part of my new design. I added a mini photo of the stitchy part .. right … here …

Sadly - for Snoopy anyway - the weather is cold and rainy here, so he never gets to chance to be in the garden Poor bunny, I feel sorry for him. He still has an ok time, but we had to put him in the living room and spend 50 bucks on stuff for him. Snoopy is smoking (left) and Snoopy under the table (right). Better pics as usual in our family gallery.

Sorry I did not get to post any pics. I am always so busy these days. I have 5 more patterns to stitch and have 3 or more finishing ideas that I need to use on those patterns on. It is going to be great, I can promise ;)

Nothing much else is going on. I am looking forward to finish this last class today (yep, Saturday … don’t ask) and then we will enjoy the holiday with the family. Snoopy will love the garden, so do we .. and play badminton.

The last few days, I did not sleep too well. I have trouble falling and staying asleep. It makes it hard to concentrate at school and to stitch at home. I have never done so much frogging as lately.

I am thinking a lot wether or not to show my designs while working on them. I mean .. of course not the way I will finish them as some are specially thought of by myself. I know there might be people steal my ideas, but then again .. if they steal them now or in a week makes no real difference. Not that I want them to be stolen, but I am sure you get my point.  So I guess I will show at least medium preview pictures to have at least something to show off Be prepared from some lovely pics soon

Lately I feel more and more that I am wasting time at college. Not because I am having classes, but because we go there to do reports. There’s either the data needed for the project missing or the pc labs are full  … which would not be too bad IF a) the program would not be only intalled in a certain lab, b) we did go all the way just for this and c) the deadline for the project would not be dued right after the holidays. Ah well.

As for good news, we finished cleaning our apartment (more or less). It’s almost as good as it gets I added the last few pics of the missing rooms to our family gallery. So hop over and have a look. You can even see Snoopy hanging out in his cage.
