Yummy

Selina | Food Adventures, spinning | Wednesday, 02 July 2008

I added a new recipe to Selina’s recipes - Brownies with Vanilla Ice Cream. It’s all home made and tasted wonderfully. The vanilla ice cream looks kind of funny in the photo, but it tasted really yummy :)

I also had a wonderful mail day … I bought from my graduation money an Ashford Traveller spinning wheel. It’s only 1.5 years old and I doubt the owner really spun on it much. It looks so new. And it spins like a dream. I started spinning a little bit of a roving I dyed a few weeks ago and it’s already nicely thin, even though this is my first go with this wheel. Also the double paddle is really good on my back. Very happy here :)

Vog On update

Selina | Food Adventures, Knitting | Tuesday, 25 March 2008

So, today I decided to be a little active and made some yummy Irish Cream like alcohol, but with after eight minty chocolate. It’s very tasty and very rich. Will have quite a few days/weeks to drink from it :) I also made some Pretzels which I took photos of but since they did not turn out quite right yet, I will need a 2nd try because I share the pic and recipe on here.

I also knitted a little on the vog on socks, so hopefully they’re done soon :)

Short and sweet

Selina | Food Adventures | Sunday, 09 March 2008

I finished two models today, so no photos until their relase. I am really behind of shedule and the weekend was way too short. I will see that I can start working on the dog RR tomorrow again and also take a project with me to school.

I did a lot of cooking (breakfast omelettes for breakfast and hot dog buns for diner) and baking (Bienenstitch - YUMMY!). I did not get to take a photo of the cake, it was too fast gone. I took a photo of the buns, but since I already showed a pic of our Hamburger Buns I will spare you this time ;)

Here’s a photo of the lovely omelette, though. It was very good. I added the recipe to Selina’s recipes.

One glove is done …

and it’s lovely and fits ok (thought a wee bit tight). Look here. It has a thumb, too, in case you wonder. The back is just not as interesting as the front, so I added just the front ;)

We made hamburger buns this for lunch. They were good so I thought I’ll share the recipe with you - click here :) And as an additional treat, I added a photo of them.
