Yay. I am done - well, almost. The yarn is currently trying to take a little, relaxing bath and then gets to dry so there should be a good photo of it tomorrow.

The yarn should have about 4 oz and has 289m. I do not seem to be able to get over 300 lately, but the yarn is still alright.
Snoopy and me got our Winter Bunderland SWAP package today! Each item was so lovely wrapped:

So it is how everything looked unpacked:

I cannot wait to try the teas and chocolate. I never used a row counter, so I am excited to start a new project. The yarn is so soft. The teas smell fantastic. Snoopy was unable to wait to test the treats. He poked and clawed at the packages until I gave up and opened them for him.

Thank you to Louise and Billy for the lovely goods
I came home to this lovely RAK by a nice lady on Ravelry - peanut butter cup and teas

Snoopy and me also heard that our Winter Bunderland Items arrived. We’re very happy that they were liked

I started working on yet another yarn. This one is 100% Superwash and so soft. I love it. The colour way is called Pumpkin Pie and I loved it at first sight.

I spun about 1.5 oz of the 4 I have.
I did not get to take a photo of the yarn at daylight, but that’s ok. I think the photo turned out decent.

It’s 4oz with around 220m. I love the colours - they’re very pretty. I actually have 4 more oz, but I am not sure if I am not trying to spin the other four thinner.
I just finished plying Thermograph, winding it onto the chair and counting the meterage. I got 220m of yarn, 2 plied. It’s taking a little bath now and will be hanging up soon. Hopefully, I get home tomorrow at a decent time so I can take a good photo.

Out of those two singles …

… I am currently plying this yarn.

I think I am about half way through the plying. The yarn is rather interesting.
That’s my new project. It’s an attempted to finally get rid - in a good way - of my cheapo, horrid so called “sock yarn” that’s totally not useful for socks. I am sorry about the horrible photo, though. It does not look too bad in real.

I am finally doing something fun again - spinning!! I looked through my spinning STASH and saw the August Spunky Fiber Club. It’s about 8oz of lovely dyed BFL.

I plan to spin it into a 2-plied yarn - which weight it will have, I have no idea.
it’s weekend. The only two f***ing days I’m off from work and guess what?!?! I must have hurt a nerve in my left hand, so I can’t do anything. Not talking about the pain. IT HURTS! I can only type wit one hand
It just figures
:(
Yep, the first work week after vacation is over. Everything is as usual - lots of work, too less time during the day and lots of interuptions. Ah well.
On Tuesday, we had snow again. Within the course of a few hours we had a couple of inches again which is still here around - though now it is more frozen and disgusting. Here’re are three photos taking 2 hours apart of each other showing the snow in ..

Today was my first day back at work after two weeks off - and I survived! but I am pretty tired now. Isn’t the first day the worst after a holiday? We also had to do the big food shopping today, so that was *fun*.
Here’s the progress on my Twinkle Toes socks. I think I will be adding one (or two) more pattern repeat(s) and then add the ribbing.

Alright, we’re finally at an acceptable stage of cleaning up that I think I will feature a room every now and then. How frequent that will be, no one knows.
The first room to be featured is our living room, which is at this point the cleanest room. The curtains are not fixed yet. We’re not done 100% with it. I would like to buy some big pictures for over the couches and the closet is not where we want it to be, but all in all that’s how it looks like.
The view from the door showing the beautiful relax chair - which was almost as much as an entire couch, but was worth every penny! It’s lovely to sit in and reclines
And I can use my spinning wheel sitting in it. Snoopy’s cage is next to the smaller of two couches. That spot is just perfect for him, as it does not exclude him from the family and he can also look out of the windows. His favourite spot is next to the recliner between the heater and the window.

The next few is showing both couches as well as the couch table. Between the two couches in the corner is a little round chair holding a light and DHs iPod station. DH usually sits on the smaller couch and me in the bigger .. Snoopy thinks he owns the recliner. The table next to the bigger couch has a clock, a bunny calender (sadly not in the photo) and another light.

Yet another view shows the closet with the TV, DVD player, the candy safe, the display case and whatever else. There’s also the new DVD shelf, which is already over-flowing with DH’s billions of DVDs. Yep, we’re still not have a LCD or Plasma tv - which makes us pretty old fashioned.

Last but not least a horrible shot of our balcony. It’s much better in person. The size is alright for us and Snoopy. However, once it’s warmer, it’ll need to be bunny proved and improved. I think we’re going to enjoy it.

Well, that is part one of my feature. Hope you enjoyed it. Stay tuned for the next part.
Yep, I started a new project - it’s my first one with the famous Wollmeise yarn, which I hope is as great as they all say
and it’s also my first toe-up sock. I really like the colour, even though the pictures shows with more red than in real and the pattern does not really show off.

Bev tagged me for the 6th pic on the 6th folder. I admit I had to check first to see what photo was to picked before I decided to join - wouldn’t have wanted some embaressing family photo to be published
Here are the rules: Find the 6th folder in your photos folder and then the 6th photo in it. Post it on your blog Tag 5 others, leave a comment to let them know they’ve been tagged.
My photo is Snoopy getting his Adventskalender from DH. Looks like it’s the first day. I do not think Snoopy knows what’s going on, otherwise he’d have not just sat.

I do not know 5 people to tag - other than Heidi
- so whoever reads and has not done that yet, please play along!
