I finished the inner gloves. They turned out lovely, but for some weird reason I have no idea of, one is bigger than the other. I was so sure I did the second one the exact same way. Either way, both fit alright and I am going to start the outer mittens soon.

Hope you all had lovely, peaceful and sound holidays. DH got me a coffee machine for XMAS. Those who know me also know that I hate coffee, but it makes hot chocolate, cappuccino and tea faster than our water heater.

DH got some cool iPod thingy that has speakers and a little remote. It’s very neat.

Oh yeah, baby. Thank God It’s Friday - for more than one reason. I only have two more days to work until my vacation. Yesterday, when at work, my foot started hurting and it got worse during the cause of a couple of hours. At night, I was so in pain I had to take pills & things and could hardly sleep. It still hurts pretty bad - even today.

Alright .. I am back into stitching. I decided to get into the swing with the Chatelaine Adventskalender 2008. It’s fun and pretty. I just finished day 2

long time readers might not remember many snowy photos from me over the past 3ish years. Karlsruhe nor Neustadt really has much snow as neither is very high up (around 100-160m above 0). Now Pfullingen is over 550 m high, and that shows! I think this is already the 2nd time it snowed since we moved here.

Why the kitchen and bathroom have the better view, while the living room is facing up the hill giving a bad view for the both the window and our balcony, no one knows. They surely screwed that up …

I finished my cell phone cozy yesterday, but did not get a chance to take a photo. I think it turned out lovely.

Here’s the cell phone cozy I have been knitting on since yesterday. There’s only the Icord missing. And I plan on sewing the arms onto the body at one point to give it a funny pose. I do not know if I mentioned this or not, but I spun this yarn myself. It was fiber I received as prize for being part of the Tour de Fleece 2008. It’s a three plied yarn that came out at sock weight

I can’t believe it’s been so long since I last posted. The last month or two were totally_crazy - and that’s to put it nice.

The big news is - we moved. It was very exhausting to work and move at the same time. All these things got moved into that trailer which then got moved the 100+ km to our new home.

Our new home is sadly not even close to being done. There are still tons of things to wash, clean, cook and organize, but it starts looking better than that

Snoopy, on the other hand, had a much better time than us. He loves the new place as he can learn to walk on the floor and is now hopping around in the whole place.

To celebrate our new place - and that most boxes are finally upacked - we had a fancy dinner last night. Some yummy turkey, tasty potatoe balls, chest nuts and Rotkraut. It was very, very tasty  - and we had left over today for lunch, so that’s always great.

I do hope I have some crafty pictures later today. I am working on a little cell phone cozy for my cell phone, knitted from my hand spun yarn.
