Rogue
While being sick (still coughing and sneezing, actually) I could not stitch or knit on anything too difficult, so I knitted on Rogue. It’s coming along alright and it actually fits just fine, so I might not have to add a band afterall.

I had a long week at work, though the long refers to me actually not having being out all day for so long. To add to it, I caught a bad cold which started on yesterday and now I have a sore throat, headache and hear bad. Ah well. I have Monday and Tuesday off, so I guess I have enough time to get well again
Anyway, from the sick bay I managed to finish the last few rows of MS4 clue 3. It took forever with my cold, but now it’s done.
.. and yet so far to complete the MS4 Clue 3. I am 6 RS away from completing it, but that’s impossible as I need to go to bed early to be fresh and relaxed for work. Since not too much is missing, I hope I will be able to get it done during the week.
I have been really busy with getting things ready for which I will not have time when work starts on Monday. Yep, I found a job less than two weeks ago. It had a rough start with some unknowns, but it all got worked out and I will start on Monday with a paid schooling time. I am excited
I did not get to do much stitching or knitting either. I worked a bit on my MS4 and am almost half done with clue 3.
I do not think I am able to finish clue 3 before Monday. It’s a big clue and I cannot knit more than a few rows before my concentration breaks off.
yesterday, we celebrated our anniversary. Two years married, who would have thought? Here’s what my DH got me:
I also got some yarn to knit Rogue, which I just had to start and modify to be a cardigan. The colour is off in the photo. I really like this pattern and the yarn. This is going to be very pretty.
I just finished Clue 2, but the photos are not so great because it’s already dark. Hope you like them anyway.
And a different kind of photo:
Wow, it’s been a while since my last post. The last few days were crazy, but I hope I will have more time now to post again. I was offered a job and had to do lots of traveling, but after a series of events I am not too sure anymore. We’ll see.
Anyway, here’s my flutter scarf blocked. I hope it dries on time for my godmom’s birthday party.
and I love it. It’s very pretty, but I did not buy enough beads to do the whole thing. The first clue almost ate 1/3 of all the beads I bought. No problem, though, as I am just going to order some more right away. I also need more 3.5mm needles. I only have one pair which is needed by the Flutter Scarf and both sides of the MS4, so I need to buy these, too.
Anyway, here’s the photo of the entire first clue. I think the colour of the yarn and beads were nicely captured:
Here’s a little close up to show how pretty it is
I did less knitting than I thought I did today and still did not finish clue 1. I am missing 8 rows and on Monday I will be buying two more 3.5mm needles so I can work on the 2nd time of knitting clue 1 and the Flutter Scarf
Here’s a photo of “entire” stole:
and here’s a little close up for better viewing pleassure. I think once the stole is longer, the photos will be better
.. today was the day. The Mystery Stole 4 started with the first clue. I decided to have a go at this one, which is my first lace project with lace yarn (besides the Flutter Scarf) and my first bead project, so I hope I did not get over my head with this one.
I casted on at 7PMish and now have just finished row 1 (which means I actually knitted 4 rows, but the counting is different).
I reached and passed the half way point and I still think it’s very pretty. Since it uses lace weight yarn, it’s also very light but warm nevertheless. I am now pretty sure it will be done. Hope she’s going to like it.
On the job news, I was asked to call a company back tomorrow so maybe I will get a job afterall. Wish me luck.
Wow, it’s been a while since I last posted my goals, I think. Since I will probably be mostly home most of the time, it’s rather much.
