Spining on the Traveller …
.. is like heaven. Boy, I had no idea what I missed out. When I won it on ebay, I was convinced the first thing I need is a high speed kit. No way, this thing is so fast I do not think I need one. In fact, what I might need is a jumbo kit to be able to ply yarn without having to switch bobbins constantly.
Anyway, I spun my first yarn and had a success. I spun 40 g of fiber, turned it into a two plied yarn and turned up with an amazing 321m. That’s pretty much lace weight, except that it is not as even as it could have been.
