Isn’t he cute? I only have a few cross stitches to do before I can do the backstitching. Hope it can be sent off tomorrow together with a whole bunch of things I keep forgetting

.. is done. It took only 5 minutes to finish. I added some blue cords, and stuck half the box it was drying on to give it more stability. Now I can put all my crafty projekts in a bag

Okay, you won’t see this in the photo … but this is a felted bag, upside down on a box which is covered in a plastic bag in our shower. I plan on using it as a craft bag to store projects I work on at the moment.

.. I forgot to take a photo of my progress last night, as I was too tired and went to bed at 8ish. I made quite some progress and have plans to send it off very soon. He’s such a cutie Here it is:

… that was a fun and easy pattern, except the picot cast on. I will probably give them to my mom as mother day’s gift.

So, today I decided to be a little active and made some yummy Irish Cream like alcohol, but with after eight minty chocolate. It’s very tasty and very rich. Will have quite a few days/weeks to drink from it I also made some Pretzels which I took photos of but since they did not turn out quite right yet, I will need a 2nd try because I share the pic and recipe on here.

I also knitted a little on the vog on socks, so hopefully they’re done soon

We just got home from our Easter time at my parents. It started snowing in Neustadt and with forecast for snow and rain in the afternooon, so we left as soon as we finished eating. Driving was ok, though very tireding.

Anyway, once home there was an envelope in our mail box from my dearest friend Heidi. Some lovely chocolate and stitch markers for knitting in a lovely bag - it’s like she read my mind! I was wondering how I could make/get some markers just yesterday!! Thank you, I love them

As an Easter tradition, hubby and I coloured eggs and gave them to Snoopy to show off his Easter bunny time.

We always buy the colours on sale, so this time we got different ones from last year. They were for putting the egg into the water with the disolved colour.

They turned out ok, though not as nice as last years. We did some additional colour to them, so they were not so boring.

Okay, you won’t believe this but .. I took the RR with me and forgot almost all colours, except beige and black. I stitched a little though while working on my thesis.

.. are done. Now off to the felting. Hope it works out *fingers crossed*

Oh … time is flying so fast and I am behind shedule, really behind. And having a new car that wants me to test ride it is taking time off my limited time (oh, thanks for all your comments about the car, very happy about it. It’s so cool .. even beeps when one back ups if it’s closing up on an object).

Anyway, I just finished another model incl. finishing (sorry, no photo yet) and now will head to the RR. Meanwhile, I also try to finish some slippers for my dad which I hope to give him for Easter. Here’s a photo of the first of my dad’s slippers pre-felting. They’re about twice as long as my foot …

I also wanted to finish the Vog On for my mom, but no chance I can get it all done.

Isn’t it lovely? No more shopping by bike. No more going by train to my parents

Oh, and I changed my blog title as I added it before knowing a company had the same name and I did not want people to come here and think of a connection that does not exist.

This sock is BIG. I can only wear them if I wear another sock underneath I think even mom will need a 2nd pair of socks. Next time I really have to change the number of stitches as those giantic socks do not really work out well for me or my family.

I wanted to work some more on the dog, but had no colour for the frame anymore. I did not remember I had none left after the two I made for myself, so I had to order three skeins. Hopefully they’ll get here on  Saturday so I might be able to do a little of it before Easter. Meanwhile I stitched on a model and it’s about half done.

… done. Well, except the backstitching which I always do last. He turned out so cute Sorry about the photo not being so lovely.  I will start the frame tomorrow, so watch out for more photos.

I did not really knit today, so no sock update. However, I did look online and aparently about 90% of all women have bigger feet than I do (as in … they always seem to have 40 (or 8-9 US) and I have only 36 (or 6 - 6.5 US)). That makes the sock knitting really hard sometimes.
