Sorry, no stitching today. I was worried I’d get my gem over the RR again. Will have to wait a few days and then can restart again.
I figured knitting on my glove is not doing any harm, so here it is. It’s coming along great
and as it is two-coloured it’s twice as thick- and alas warm - as single thread.

The sick bug has me in his grip, so I am pretty upset and down. Maybe one of those days I will be better.
Okay, the glove actually does fit .. eventhough I will have to knit the fingers longer than in the pattern since I do have long fingers. I really love the pattern. However, I am afraid that by the time they’re done it will be too warm outside to wear them. Too bad.

I also stitched some on a new design as well as on the dog RR. The doggy is coming along nicely
Hope you like it.

.. done on the dog RR. He’s going to be a cute black doggy with a butterfly to play with. Reminds me of a black Westie or Scotch.

So this is my latest knitting project. The first with more than one colour. I really like the pattern. It’s very pretty, BUT I am not sure if they fit. My row gauge is pretty ok, but yet they seem so short. I might just have to frog them and find a better pattern for this yarn.
I stitched some today, but it’s not so much worth to show a pic. Should be so far tomorrow, I hope. It’s a dog for the dog RR - which I’d like to send out before the official deadline as it has a long way to travel, poor doggy.
.. ok, it’s on a wine bottle, but ah well. I thought this was just too funny to not do!

.. and it’s way bigger than him

I just finished my first shrug ever. It turned out .. well .. interesting. I like it, but need a nice closer for it. I used a knitting needle for the photo.

So, I am finally recovering, though still sore and cranky. The pills made my stomach a little sick, but I have the next few pills ready to be taken. I will go to school tomorrow to work on my final thesis. Much left to do, but I am sure it will be ok. I have three out of four exams passed, the two I am unsure about are still open. Would be so cool if I passed all and would walk out of school in April
I have not stitched for a while, mainly because my concentration is not too well so knitting is easier to do. I miss stitching, though. As soon as I recover, I will work on the dog RR.
I finally got to wear my sweater and took a photo. It’s kind of blurry, but I just did not get it clearer in our dark hallway. Hope you like it!

While laying on the couch most of the day, I started a new project which will be a shrug. It’s a very fun and easy project to knit and I cannot wait til I can actually wear it. It takes up a lot of yarn, though.

Snoopy just could not resist checking out my brand new sweater. I think it turned out lovely, though I was worried it is way too big when first putting it together - luckily it’s not.
Sadly, I am to sick to wear it OR I do not take a photo of my head, but I am just too beat for that right now. I went to the doc, and all he gave me was the usual advice - sleep much, rest much, drink much. Additionally, I got some pills for my lip issue, but the drug store did not have them in stock .. meanwhile my lips are worsen by the minute. Can’t wait for tomorrow. I might even have to send hubby as the less I move the less they hurt (and the less my condition gets worse).

I am still around. We went to see my parents over the weekend, so not much time to blog. Tomorrow’s my last test and I think I might not pass. I am just too tired and worn out, but luckily - eventhough it will be a bad in a fiancial way - it will not be the end of the world.
On a lighter note, my knitting bug keeps bugging (heheh) and I finished the front and back of my sweater. It looks lovely, but it might be a wee too big. Since it was not permantly fixed, I will just sew a few stitches extra in when doing the real sewing - plus it’s always good to have things bigger than smaller

I am so exhausted I can hardly keep my eyes open not talking about typing. Not sure what it is, but I also have problems breathing and sure hope I will be better soon. Snoopy and I needed a break, poor us:
I made a cake last night and we tried to decorate it, though it did not turn out as we were hoping for, here it is:

We went to the Zoo because it’s lovely there and we did not go for a long time. There was sure much to see:

As usual, we made a photo of ourselves:

After that we went to eat and came back home. I would like to thank all the lovely people who sent me cards. As I usually do not get cards or any other things, I was very happy for those - thanks!

Here’s the just finished front of my to-be sweater. It’s coming along nicely and very fast

I made quite some progress today and it’s coming along lovely. I doubt I will be able to wear it soon (as for my birthday or over the weekend), but that’s ok. The colour is way off, but ah well.

I finally got into Ravelry and it’s rather nicely, espcially organizing patterns. Anyway, it got me into the mood for starting my sweater which’s material I bought long ago. For some reason, it took me forever to have the first row done, but now it’s going realtively fast

as planned, most of my day so far was spent stitching. And I made quite some progress and must say this is coming along great
The doggy’s are so cute

I am not sure what else to do today. I did desgin a new pattern and will think about some other ones, but I stitched enough for one day
Maybe I will knit something if I find a pattern to my liking. I’d love to start my sweater, but Snoopy is loosing hair and I’d hate those little add ons in it.
