Monkey Sock
Sorry for the update free time. I am feeling blue and do not really feel like doing much besides hanging around. Anyway …..
Here’s my latest sock for my granny on Christmas. It’s a free pattern. It is a wee bit too big, but my grandmom does have a litte *wider* food than me … and when wearing a thin sock under that sock, it’ll fit great and warm up wonderfully.
I do not get why all those patterns have to be devided through 16. That makes the sock either WAY too small or a little too big.
Oh ….. and this is my very first knitted item using yarn over, which makes a hole on purpose. Yet again, another thing I taught myself how to do. It is rather easy, once I got the hang of it and am happy that I once more learnt something new. Slowly, but steadily I will be a knitting expert
