.. you better stay in bed. I should have, that’s for sure.
I did my only two hobbies today, stitching and playing video games and now my right hand hurts. It’s all numb and useless. What I am supposed to do? Sit around all day watching tv?!?
As this was not enough, I was trying to bake a bread and it turns out that the bread baking machine is broken. It’s not heating up anymore, and we only bought it like a two weeks ago … ARGH! Of course, we do not find the recite and cannot return it
I paid with a bonus card, so maybe I can go to the store and asking them if they can see it in my balance. Wish me luck. We’re not rich enough to waste 50 bucks.
I am done with this day …
I am still here, just being busy with stuff.
First the good news: my dad’s back home since Thursday afternoon and is doing fine. They sent him back home after all test results were good. He’s back to his normal self sitting outside and comanding the three of us to do all sort of things
Now the not-so-good news: My blood results show that I am in top health, yet again .. which leaves only the conclusion that I have a depression. I got anti-depresiva, which are pretty nasty
My hands are still not 100% ok, but using the laptop is ok, as long as there’s no need for a mouse. I just need to get back into business again as I am already far behind and need some serious catching up to do. Still no word from college, either. ARGH!
I did not get much stitching done as the last few days we were busy with our grapes. We had at least 20lbs of them! Gues what we did! …. Grape Jelly!! A whole bunch of it. 12 big jars and 9 small jars - and the small jars aren’t exactly tiny. See here all those jars … now the bread maker will be super busy to make bread for all the Jelly.

I think Snoopy did like his little vaccation, though he had to stay in one day due to rain. That day was filled with me running behind him trying to prevent him from *playing* behind my parents couch, which turned into his favourite game.

We took him, our luggage and 11 glasses of grape jelly home by car today, and will follow them tomorrow. We got lots of things in the mail, which we need to get tomorrow as well.
… for all your support, thoughts and prayers. i am very thankful for each of you. i do indeed have the most wonderfull online friends. many hugs and much love to you all.
luckily, it was no heart attack, though it was their first diagnosis. dad had more like a strong heart flickering - if that isthe correct term. he came home tonight, on his own risk. tommorow he will need to go back for more tests and to get infos for the diet he will need to do.
now as yesterday was not bad enough, i got a letter from college today, basically saying i got expelled. i wrote one exam three times, but took one semester off while working. so now they say it took me too long. i just do not get why they did not tell me before i wrote the test a third time, since it was obvious i would not pass on time. no need to worry, though. i will take legal action as well as write yet another excuse. i only have one semester left and they did allow me to write the test in the first place. was just hoping that with all the good grades i had this semester i’d get off easy. ah well.
wonder what happenes tommorow…
need to off now. my hands still hurt, so i use the wii to write to you. it’s a pain. hopefully, i will be able to stitch tommorow again. have a lovely day
Please pray for my dad he just had a heart attack and is in the hospital now. He’s better, but still in ICU.
Additionally, I have tendosynovitis which makes typing very hard and painful. They also took some blood as I have yet another mysterious sickness.
I will see you all later. Hugs, Selina
I have trouble loading the admin area for some reason, but at least it finally loaded. Here’s my progress on the 4th IRR from last night - it’s going to be a robin:

after 6+ hours of being down, the servers finally work again. It’s about #### time.
I’d really like to thank Heidi and Cheryl for giving me their opinion on my finishing instruction problem :) I can now better see what to do and how. Thank you.
As for my servers being off almost all day, I finished a new model all the way. That makes 3 models for the mid-September release
Only 2 or 3 more to go.

And luckily for you guys, the finishing instructions of whatever I made out of this design will be avaiable with the next batch of patterns for free. I took enough pics to put together something nice and easy to follow
Oh yeah, while talking about linabear creations, please visit www.linabear.com and click on the *Please vote for us* banners (there are three, but only one shows at a time) whenever you can
You can vote once a day. I appreciate your help, thanks :)
I did not get to stitch yesterday at all, so I guess I am behind again. D’oh! The reason why is that hubby and I bought a bread making machine!! It’s really neat. I made a lengthy post on my myspace about how cool it is and all the things involved, so hop over and enjoy
I stitched today and made some nice progress on yet another design. Here’s the preview:

Snoopy is having a good time today, since he came out a lot more than usual. Most of the days, he’s running around while I still sleep. When he wants to come out again, we will go to bed 5 mins later, so it never really works out. Anyway, here’s the photo .. hope you can tell which one is Snoopy…

Looks like I am finally catching up with the next releases
The little preview of the design was finished today into something really nice.

How did you get started stitching? Was there a person that inspired you?
I did what we call here Gobelin stitching when I was a kid with my grandmother. It was ok and I did some quite big designs, too. But I lost interest sometime because everything was so BIG and the fabrics is so hard .. not talking about the painted fabrics - yikes. Years later, hubby and I went to Wal*Marts one of the time I was in the US, … and while looking at the craft section, I saw this beginners kit for a cross stitched light house. I stitched it while we spent the weekend at the flea market selling old stuff. Been hooked up ever since
the finishing of my design from yesterday is now all done. *dances around like crazy* It turned out very cool esp. since I went along coming up with the finishing rather than have a real plan. I only had an idea on how the final result should look like .. well, it’s almost perfect to my mental image
Sadly, I will not be able to show a lovely quality photo before the release of the design, but be sure this one is worth the wait
While talking about the release of the design, I need some opinions from you. Would you rather have the finishing instructions come with the pattern (which makes the pattern a wee bit more expensive) or would you rather have the pattern and instructions seperately (which makes you having to pay for the instructions only once, esp if I design more patterns to match that finishing)? Any input would be highly appreciated.
I also have two board specials for the LBC message board ready in my head, only need the time to start them ..
I have a Happy Dance today. It’s a very pretty outcome and I am still undecided whether the dark or lighter side turned out better
Here’s the preview:

Now off the finishing, which I guess I will start today. The faster this is done, the better
Stay tuned for more news …
… or at least I hope so. It’s a rather pretty and I am sure the finishing will work out very nice.

since I was busy all day with housework, I was too tired to stitch. I took some photos of Snoopy instead. Tomorrow will be a crazy stitching day

For the RR, which can be sent off today. Yay. The bad news is, now I will have to do some dreaded housework - yikes. The kitty on the right (with the one flower in his paws) is mine.

I finally finished all xs on the mini RR and will be able to do the BS tomorrow … and since we need to go shopping anyway, I will also be able to send it off together with a few other things - yippy.

After that, I want to work like crazy on my design (did some stitching today, but nothing worth showing) and then start on the other RR I have here around - which I believe is due on the 1st .. the theme is forrest animals .. hmm, wonder which pattern I could use.
I’d also like to say thanks to Val, Cheryl and Bev for the comments you left. They mean a lot to me, and I am glad you like my photos of Snoopy, my design previews and my first attempt at scrapbooking. Thanks and *hugs* :)
