I was tagged by Angela to tell 6 weird things about me, so here they go:
1. No matter how hot it is, I need to have at least one cover over me. Why? It’s my protection from the boogeyman, monsters and evil.
2. Talking about covers, when going to bed I will get under the covers, lift up my legs so the cover sort of wraps around my feet and put my covered legs on bed. Can’t really sleep otherwise as I am having cold feet and this is the only way to make them feel warm and confy.
3. I can watch all day NON-STOP a certain TV show. For example, when I lived alone, I watched the entired day Star Trek for like a week, then The Simpsons for the next week etc. You get the idea. Now how crazy is that?
4. I am reacting to full moon. It makes me having bad day and night dreams, irriatable, upset, aggressive and bad mooded. Got that from my dad, he’s the same.
5. If I did not eat meat for a longer period of time, I am smelling meat and have the unbeliveable desire to have. Also, if I am hungry at all or for a certain thing, I can smell it even if there’s absolutely no food/smell to be smelled within 10 miles. No kidding.
6. I absolutely hate going shopping for clothes and sometimes also food shopping. It’s hell. I am tired after like 10 mins and want to go out. It’s annoying and tireding. On the other side, I could spend 24 hours a day in a craft shop.
I am tagging Andy, Loren, Heidi (FIN), Heidi (BRD) and Tim
Last night, I went through my new knitting book and saw a lovely scarf idea. However, the pattern was not awesome, so I decided to go ahead and mess around with my XOXO pattern and the scarf idea. I do think it’ll be turning out perfect. Here’s the start:

We’re having a new exchange on Linabear Forum. It’s a mail art exchange and should be wonderful. You can check out the details at this post. It’d be great to have many lovely stitchers join in
Andy and I had a lovely breakfast - waffles. Yummy. The recipe can be found at the linabar forum in the baking section. I learned and stitched while hubby worked. Fun time. We went to the library to give back a dvd, and get a new one.
Today’s test went ok. I should have around 60% right. Should make a lovely 3 - yay. Could have been better, but - as usual - I knew the things they did not ask better than the ones they asked. I am satisfied anyway.
I stitched some on the Leporello - as mentioned above, but I am getting tired of it for now. The last week or two all my stitching was a race against time, trying to catch up on things. I finally want to stitch something for the fun of it. Not sure what I will be working on, though. I feel like a Tatty Teddy - been a long, long time.

Wow, I am getting good in feeling when a happy dance is coming up
Just kidding. It was obvious I have that hour or two to finish my 9th Part of the Leporello. It came out wonderful. Only two more parts to do, then I am all done

What now? There are a *billion* of dishes, the 10th part of the Leporello, Legend of Zelda - Twilight Princess and learning for tomorrow’s test optioned in. I shall start with the test and then move slowly to more enjoyable things …
is over. I did not do too well or too bad. Should be enough points to at least pass it. I am not very happy about it, though. I was hoping for a better grade, but I guess I’d have needed a better teacher for that. Ah well.
Andy and I met in the town center to get two curtain poles, so we can hang up our curtains in the dining room. It’s about time. Later on, we will have to do some food shopping.
I feel one coming up tomorrow. This part of the Leporello is only missing the beads and special stitches. Here it is:

I think I am catching a cold. Having a little bit of fever, feeling bad, hurting throat and funs like that. Perfect timing right when the exams are starting :-/ Maybe going to bed now will help.
I spent most of the day either shopping or updating my parents computer. Actually, it was only meant to be a little software update, but turned out to be a 3.5 hours job. Happenes to be that the software needed XP SP2 and the computer only had SP1. Alas, it took over an hour to get SP2 (luckily entirely free) on the pc. Took another 1 or 90 mins to update the program we needed. Then it took over an hour to clean out the datas and enter January’s info. No fun.
I stitched some on the Leporello. After being done with the green seen in the pic, I saw I am one square off at almost the begining and had to frog for quite a bit. I do not see it happening that I will be caught up with the Leporello before February, after all I should also do a little bit of learning. Hopefully I can finish this part, though:

Since I do not feel so well and am rather sad, I guess I am going to bed soon.
Sounds like a great movie title, doesn’t it? Anyway, being up-to-date with the Workstation I now need to run and catch up with the Leporello preferable before 1st February. I noticed that a) my Leporello had a scissors accident on its journey to my parents (luckily not anywhere close to stitching and it should not disturb the finishing process) and b) has only 3 more parts to be stitched. Which actually means next month will the last pattern come out. Pretty sad to see such a wonderful project going to its end, but also great to finally have a complete happy dance with it.

Didn’t I say it last night? I felt the happy dance coming and I was right. I am officially caught up with the Workstation - yay.

… Remember me, if this you find. - A lovely saying
I finsihed all the one-over-one stitching and started with the border on the top. I feel a happy dance coming up tomorrow

Our money-less week is almost over - Friday’s buck day
We were still full and probably fed. All things are eaten by now, so that’s not too bad. However, it’ll feel great to finally have some more money than just change.
Andy just called to let me know he’ll be home late
It’s only a 20 min delay, but still .. Meanwhile Snoopy finally got out of his cage for his nightly “I-need-to-run-around” before it’s bedtime
Here’s a little pic of our bunny:

This morning was up to a bad start. The alarm went off and I was not getting it. I was like “Who would call us in the middle of the night? … oh my, something happened!” Jumped out of the bed, awake and noticed that a) I gave the new phone number to ppl in mid-Jan so no one would use the cell phone and b) it was not the ringing sound, but the one the alarm uses.
I tried to go back to sleep for another few mins … the water dripped in the kitched. You know those cartoons, when that drives the character crazy? It really does. So I went out of bed and tried to go to the kitched in the dark. Snoopy got really scared, run around and stomped. I first had to calm him down and then took care of the water. Andy slept through all it, of course
School was really boring. The only excitement was when I tried to go home. The stop was entirely closed by police and the guys from the KVV. I jumped on the next cable car to go a few stops ahead, far enough to actually be able to get possibly on my cable car, hoping it was already detoured. It did not seem like it at first, but luckily once I arrived at the main cemetry, my cable car did indeed come soon
I came home and then went to leave for Andy’s apointment at the IB. Turned out it was only like 5 mins to ask a few questions. Phew. We went home. Andy left for school and I updated my blog software once again. More to come later on. I will be stitching on the Workstation
Test time is around the corner, so here’s the planned schedule:
29th Jan: Satellite Geodesy - all papers allowed, tons of papers, easy stuff. No problem to be seen
30th Jan: Work Science - should be no problem
1st Feb: Math Geodesy - all papers allowed, tons of papers, easy stuff. No problem to be seen
6th Feb: Surveyor Technics etc - all papers allowed. Should be going ok
8th Feb: GIS (Geomatic Info Systems) - no papers allowed. 2nd try. Should be going ok.
12th Feb: Geology - no papers allowed. Did not do much/anything yet, but should be ok.
14th Feb: Photogrametry and Remote Sensoring - no papers allows. Too much to get to know now. I will problem drop out of it for this semester.
15th Feb: Adjusment - all papers allowed. I am pretty good at it. No problem to be seen
Wish me luck and keep your eyes open for updates. As you could tell, it was a close one to my b-day, as every year
Here’s today’s progress of my Workstation. Will definately be able to catch up before the new month.
Been doing dishes, cooking diner, working on a report and stitched - so hooray for me
Andy got home from school just a min ago.
It snowed yesterday and is currently snowing. It’s a pretty sight and about time. We had t-shirt weather last week, this week snow. Crazy weather.
It makes me wish Aireen was still with me. She was crazy about snow. She’d run around and jump high to catch snowflakes
