We’re back as you see. I decided to back-date the post matching with the day we went to see certain things. I thought this was the best way to handle it. More pictures can be seen in my gallery :) Enjoy the pics and stories!

While being away, I got the latest monthly bits (pic will follow sometime tomorrow) and the Cross Stitcher. Thanks Val, I shall email you sometime this or next week.

Our last day in Nürnberg and we were quite sad. We got up after 6 as usual and - after getting ready - we went one last time to breakfast. They had such a great, tasty breakfast buffet every morning. It was heaven - and fattening, I am afraid.

We cleaned the room up and then head to the Zoo again. This time it was for seeing the dolphins and the other animals we missed. Sadly, the first showing of the dolphins was at 11, but we had to check out of the hotel at noon. It took about 20 mins to get from the hotel room to the Zoo, so there was no chance to see it We saw the dolphins from an underwater walk-through thingy, though. They were quite lovely.

We also went to the goats in the kids zoo. They were really cute and just knew the sound of the feeding machine and the food in the box. Boy were they fast. We could have gotten in, but we did not want to in order to keep our clothes clean.

Sadly, after a while my camera just died. It was such a pain and I was so upset, esp because it won’t work right before the polar bears. I took some pics with my cell phone, but this was not as well as with my real cam. Here’s one of the best shots:

After that, we went back to the hotel and got all our bags. We checked out and went to the station. We ate at McDonalds. The train came early and so we coud take a seat on tim before all those ppl came in. Phew. The train ride was boring, as stitching was no option as - I don’t know. I wish I had brought some knitting stuff. Ah well.
