day 3
We both started our day with hurting feet, so it was not too much fun to actually get up and get ready.
Our first visit was to the Zoo. We took the cable car, thank heavens. Obviously the Zoo is quite far away from the Hotel. We went to see about half of the Zoo before we just could not walk anymore - which meant we had been there for over 3 hours. The Zoo is really pretty, forrest-ish with lovely ways to walk. We saw bears, seals, wolves, tigers, monkeys, birds and cats. Sadly, we did not get to go to a cash machine in the morning, so we did not get to the dolphinarium :( as it’d have been extra money. We’ll probably go tomorrow, though.
Our next stop - after having a Pizza Hut lunch - was another church. St Lorenz church. This church only let you take pics if you pay 5 bucks, so we did not really look. I only went in for a sec to see if it’d be worth paying the money. It was indeed nice in there, but not worth to pay. Ah well, we did take some pics from the outside.
Outside the church there was an interesting fountain. I have no idea how it is called, but look at the pic below and tell me how weird that is.
After a hot chocolate and a Strawberry & Cream drink, we decided to have a little ride on a bus-like vehicle including a guided tour. It was rather cheap (10 EUR) and about 40 mins long. Andy has it all on tape and as far as we saw it, it’s looking rather nicely. Most of my pics did not turn out very great, but some are nice.
We walked a little bit more around in the town center, and figured we were just not hungry enough to eat. So we went to the 3D IMAX, saw a movie and bought giantic drinks which we were able to drink half (or less) and took the rest of them to the hotel. Hotel’s room mini bar is so expensive and on Sunday, no super market is open, so the movie drinks were the cheapest way.
All in all Andy and myself have now 4 cups more than we had before. One glass from McDonalds (0.4 liter), one cup from the Zoo (0.5 liter) and two cups from the movies (1 liter each). We can’t wait to go to bed tonight
