Andy and I went for a shopping trip today, right before our trip tomorrow. We bought a suit for Andy and a shirt with tie for under it. It was together around 60 EUR. Pretty nicely. Now only needing shoes for the two of us and underwear for me. Will be a pain to buy those tings as they’re all quick pricey, ah well. If anyone wants to donate money, feel free

We also bought me a sweater and some tapes for our trip tomorrow, as we will be taking the video cam with us. The chances we can share a little video of this trip (and maybe the wedding) are actually increasing, as Andy firgured out some stuff. Will take a while though. I think I will do some knitting now.
I am in a hurry as we’re about to head out. Here’s the latest progress of our wedding TT
Isn’t it so cute?

Our wedding bears grew a bit more. It’s coming along nicely and maybe done sometime soon. Do not get your hopes too high, though.

I am rather depressed and disapointed lately. Why? It’s wedding related. Not about the lovely sweetheart I am about to marry, but about those around us. And it’s not just the wedding, it’s a whole long and painful line of events. Ah well, complaining won’t help. Things are as they are.
I did not touch a needle yet! Jeez, that must be record
Need to start soon, though, so I even have a chance to get anything done.
I helped my mom to get our grapes down from their plants. There were so many!! It’s hard to believe. They’re all so tasty and yummy. If I recall right, they’re all Riesling grapes - the ones that make the wonderful Riesling wine, yummy. Here are some pics (please click on them for a bigger view):

I also took some pics of the most beautiful dog ever. They can be looked at here. I so wish her tomours would not grow so fast, they’re really giantic now
She’s so cute and lovely
At least she’s not really suffering.
Two days before going to Nürnberg on a lovely trip some news made hit the morning newspaper. Nürnberg got hit by some nasty storms last night. Damage is over millions of Euros. Pictures can be seen there.
I spent quite a while at the doc yesterday, and it looks like my health condition worsen and I have to go back on pills
I really hoped it’d get better, but I guess I am doomed. No more cokes for me, or fish or chocolate :( In addition to that I seem to be getting a cold, with headache and heart issues. Lots of rest, much liquid and those standard things they tell you when having a cold.
There’s something that caught my eye that I just have to have. Sadly, our finances are so very limited we cannot afford anything else anymore, and this is not very likely to change the next few years, unless the exchange rates for USD changes into a better being. Anyway, I really want this kit
It’s so beautiful. Not that I really need it or not that I do not have enough to stitch already, but it’s lovely. I am crazy. Need .. to .. stop .. wanting … more … stash …..
I just could not resists to do it. I went out to buy some yarn and started it today. I altered the pattern as the original one was just nothing I can knit. I tried, but I did not like the outcome. As you can see I changed the colour, too. This is the best I could find and it actually just feels great on the skin. Plus I like the way it comes out when knitting. An uneven yarn, making it more interesting
I think it’ll be wonderful
So far, I knitted about 6cm of 31 I need until the arm holes will be started. 1/5th ain’t too bad considering I started really late and all. I might just knit another row or two tonight.

I just finished the 2nd half of the 5th part of the Leporello - pretty long sentence, eh? I am really happy to be finally done with those flowers. Four in a row was not too much fun. Hoping for a lovely a mandala in September.

On a little side note, I got some yarn for my sweater - yay, It’s uni-coloured, a lovely blue. I guess I will start with it now, as I run out of stitching things to do at my parents. Going back tomorrow.
Andy and I travelled to Karlsruhe today, as I had a doc’s apointment. I was so scared to go, but it turned out my surgery went ok and the healing progress is very well. Still needs time, though.
After that we went to the town center. I made Andy wearing some suits - which was the first time ever I saw Andy trying pants on in a store!
Anyway, we found one that looks nice, though we will have to shorten the pants. 1 jacket, 1 vest and 2 pants for 50 EUR. Wow
It was on sale from 100. We left it on reservation there as we did not have enough money to do this and the rings. We bought the rings! We can pick them up in the next ten or so days. Mine will say Andrew and Andy’s Selina. I did not really want the date for some reaons. Thought it’d be nice to have each other’s names
We’re almost 100% sure they are those ones here:

I looked for a skin-coloured bra and a undies, but the sort of bra I wear only has a very light pink or white (both might not be too good, but not sure yet) which would cost 20 EUR. Or a different brand in skin-colourish for 30, though not sure if this one actually gives a nice shape or not. Undies are around 7 EUR, so not too bad.
At the station, I also bought a mag as it looked nice. It has a sweater in it which I just have to do. Since we’re home I am trying to track down this wool. No luck. I wonder if it’s either brand new or already out of stock. It’s a pain. I really want that sweater
Here’s a pic of it, btw:

I should mention one little story. At 4 PMish, Andy and I arrived at the station to get back to my parents as I have to see another doc tomorrow. Anyway, we hardly ate all day and so we went to McDonalds to eat. Was very tasty
Sadly, the milk shake machine was broken, so no tasty milk shake
While eating, I was kidding and said my mom would buy fast food tonight, too, and things like that. When we picked us up, she gave me a Burger King coupon sheet and said I should pick what we want. So we ate another burger at my parents. Ooh, the fun of fast food - within 3 hours twice ..
There’s a new French SAL going on, and I think it’s really nice. It’s called Marquoir ABC Bleu et Rouge. I am usually not a big fan of samplers, but this one is just too cute. Besides being cute, it’s also giantic - it’s 491 on 665 stitches big. I’d need to order a 18ct (or rather 36ct evenweave) piece of fabrics, so it’d not be too giantic. I would also need a lot of floss in blue and red, though I actually think it could be stitched in a few more colours. I think I might give it a go.
If anyone think about doing it, here are more information to be found. English translations are to be found here. Anyway, here it is:

Andy and I played some Mario Sunshine, watched some tv and went for a walk today. All in all a rather nice day.
I finished the first of two patterns that came with part 5 of the Leporello. It’s a lovely piece
- though I had to frog almost all of it. I will now start with the 2nd pattern. Here goes the finished one:

I got so much less done today than planned, it’s quite depressing. In fact, I spend all day messing with the store until I found a software that does work alright with my needs. Now costumers need to sign in to order, but as advance they can see their order status and stuff. Some other cool things
The new store is not online yet, it’ll be a little bit longer - maybe tomorrow
Only two more parts to go. I am so excited to see how the final product will look like. Can’t wait

I have had this idea for a while, and actually think it’s sort of good. I decided to hang some of my framed small cross stitch pictures up on the wall in the living room over the bed. It always seemed so empty there. Here’s the first progress pic of it. Hopefully more pics will be added soon

Here’s my latest progress and probably the last one for this week. We’re about to head out to my parents. It’s so lovely and stitches up fast

Again, while Andy worked I worked on the Tatty Teddy. I was talking to my dear friend Val, and she thinks it would be better to have it framed. Fair point. I will frame it. She suggestes some birds from Passione Ricamo, but I am not sure. I am more for the Heart Frame pattern. Any suggestions? Anyway, here’s the groom and look how cute he is.

Andy worked too long, so there was no trip to anywhere again
Too bad. I really wish we could have gotten anyway. Ah well. Tomorrow we will be going to my parents to wash our clothes. It’s hard to believe that my holidays are half-way through. Sucks. And while talking about school, that one test I did not pass will not lead to any consequences regarding any subjects in the new semester. I can write everything and there won’t be any issues. One more test, I am used to it
