I started knitting on my scarf. I will fold it and then sew it together, so it’s double and warmer. It’ll be a while until I am done, so keep looking for progresses :) I hope to have the whole set ready for the first cold days.

I am lately having a dry spell when it comes to stitching. not sure why. I have to stitch a RR - which I should start soon. And there’s also the Leporello I want to keep up-to-date, which should not be too hard as it is just a tiny little part.
We did another street survey today. This time more a road with trucks and cars. It sucked. Besides that we stood all day in the sun, cars - and mostly trucks - just don’t keep on the speed limit. Which we set up signs for to make it 30kmph (which is around 20 miles). They drove at least 60, one meter (3 feet) away from us. The wind was really bad sometimes, that it almost blew us away.
So - the request for today - in construction areas, please keep the speed limit. Even if you do not see anyone, they could be out of sight in the next corner. Those are human beings, too, you know? With families and all. No need to risk their lives to arrive two or three minutes earlier at wheverever you’re going.
I really have a bad sunburn on the back of my knees. It’s very red and hurts bad. Ah well. There’s no other sun burn to be seen, so it should be ok. When we got back into the office, I saw that they assigned the 13h to me. I told him I cannot go then. Have to clear it tomorrow. Bad thing is that I’d have been only the 2 of us, so they need to find another one going, I guess.
The translator has time when we both need to go to the registrars. Very well. Also the proof of income I made last night will be fine. Guess who did not bother to answer? Yes, the one in Neustadt where I need something for myself. It sucks. I will go there on Monday and pick it up anyway. Even if I have to wait for it.
I recieved another gift today. Very pleased. It’s the game board sampler from my lovely Andy.
