Selina’s craft world

Woohoo, we made it and won. 1:1 after 90 mins, 1:1 after 120 mins. Penalty shooting. Argentinia did not make a goal twice while Germany shot and hit all 4!! I think it was desevered, though not a beautiful game. Germany was just better, though not much, and made the game.

Was fine today. Started with me coming in a little bit before breakfast break. I booted my pc and signed in. I started the survey programm and tried to open on what I was working on on Wednesday. It gave an arrow message about the database and then closed. My file was no where to be seen when I tried again. Then we had a little bit goodbye party for the guy who is sitting in the room with me. He is starting a new job in a week. Hope it will be what he hopes. After that, I went to Martin to ask him what I should do, but he was busy so I worked with him. He had problems, too, as it did not let him approve the changes he made (means that - after he approved it - they’re officially in every new map that will go out). He tried trillions of times. During that, someone else came in and his work was lost too - like mine.

Now for the request: Please, please pray for me and my test on Monday. Pray for me being able to keep my mind today, that I will not make any stupid mistakes and that nothing surprising will be asked for that I do not know. I want to pass it so badly. Please ask anywhere and everyone for a little prays, nice words or just a crossed fingers. Thanks so much.

When you think it can’t get worse, well it can.

I looked at my school site last night, and saw something I did not enjoy too much. I am now signed up for Monday’s test, but not the one for today in 2 weeks! But that’s the one I was able to sign up originally. That’s so annoying. I will have to email them again and ask what I should do now.

What do you do with your charts once you’ve stitched them? Do you keep them or dispose of them? If you keep them, do you organize them in a way that is different from the way you keep your unstitched charts?

Ooh, finally one that I can actually relate or answer. I keep some of the patterns I stitched and sometimes not. It always depends on how much I actually liked the pattern and if I have a great idea on how to do it again. A lot of times I traded my old patterns for new ones that I did not own yet. This is a cheap way to get new stuff  All my patterns go into one binder, no matter stitched or not :) 

That’s where I was today. It was pretty nice, time flew. It was only me and someone else, so it was double fun as I really had to work. Was very hot, though. We went for a beer before going home and I got mine paid, very nice.

Okay, I am up to 21 stars now Very well so. Andy and my game from Jan-Feb is at 48 stars

I was outside working, rained on us from the start  , bought some snacks for my babay, played some mario 64 ds (13 stars now), went back into the office, had a nervous break down and cried, worked some, went home, crying some more now. Having a little fever and headache. Touched no foodat all and will not today. Did not touch any crafts at all the past two weeks.

I guess I will just go to bed now.

I was outside working, played some mario 64 ds (4 stars now and a dead battery) and sweated. It was so hot. No fun. At 11 it thudnerstormed on us with heavy rain Lunch break was then earlier and somehow the day seemed longer.

Ok, this is really my last post for today, but something amazing happened and I have to share it.

I BEAT IT! I BEAT ZELDA THE MINSH CAP JUST NOW!!!! THIS IS SO AMAZING GREAT! I can hardly believe it. Andy failed to beat it (yet) and I made it - in two days from when I faced the final dude! I am so proud and excited, I almost called Andy to tell him but then decided against it as he’ll be up in no time anyway.

What sucks is, that after the game got saved, it gets turned off (literally) and when the main screen comes back and I enter my game, Vaati is still alive. No fair. He died. It’s not fair he is still in. But the triangle in the menu proves I beat it I could go and beat him again - nah, not today

I finished the L. It actually was a beautiful leash with a collar, but hell. I was stupid and stitched the L in a wrong spot, so I had to change it. As usual, if you can’t see the image, so to the left and click on the WIP link for the dog ABC. I will start with the M now, but won’t share until I am done.

I decided I won’t keep stitching on it at home as this is like the only thing that I can take with me to stitch at work.

As requested by my lovely bf here’s a pic of the zoo. It’s a very lovely Zoo, the best one I have ever been too. It’s also a beautiful garden where you can see wonderful things

On the way to work in the train, I played Zelda. I beat the 2nd form of Vaati (first time ever), saved Zelda and had my fairy and the whole bottle of blue potion. Guess what - I died because I forgot to drink the potion after the fairy was used. That made me so mad. Anyway, the great news is that I am now as far as Andy is with a game I started while he was here. I handed it over to him so he’d beat it for me. Guess what, he did not I am really proud of me to make it that far. This could be the first game I ever beat all by myself. Please check out our video game blog for further details.

Work was fine. I learned some more for my test - doing ok in excercises, though not perfectly well yet. Ah well. Hopefully it will be enough to pass. I also stitched some, but I might stitch more after I eat, so I will wait for a pic.

Here’s my outlook on the next couple of weeks: From today …

.. in 8 days will be the most important test that will decide if I stay in school or not.

.. in 14 days I will have a room mate.

.. in 19 days I will have another important test

.. in 36 days I will be done with work and got a 6 weeks holiday.

Wish me luck, please, I can really need it.

As a surveyor, satelit pics are very interesting to me. I had Google Earth since months on my pc, but never got around to play with it. But today, I was just seeing that a brand new version got out, so I downloaded and installed it. You need a rather good pc to actually be able to have it. It did not work on my parents pc or the old laptop. Anyway, here are two pics to show you. Please note both pics are also links for full size images.

Above is where I live. Wehlauer Str, Karlsruhe, Baden-Würtemberg, Germany. Isn’t it a pretty sight? So many houses on such a small spot - but believe it or now, it’s wonderful there
