I just finsihed the Try Out. I think it turned out cute. One thing is annoying me, though. I cut the fabrics too short on one side. I think I can fix it - hopefully.
EDIT to add: It’s past 11PM now and I just can’t fall asleep
I am wide wake. It sucks. At least I do not have to work outdoors tomorrow. Anyway, I decided to use the time for something good and finished off this Try Out
It turned out pretty good, though that cut wrong part did bring some trouble …

my piece of fabrics just dried. I think it turned out great, but the pic does not justify it’s beauty. The blue is very light (used frosty blue to dye). I like it as I would not have liked some night blue .. I do not think I will buy hand dyed fabrics anymore, I can dye pretty ok myself
I woke up at 5, but as it was too early to get up, I decided to turn around and sleep. Then I woke up at 5:40ish again and wondered why Andy did not call me as we talked about last night. Turned out my cell phone was disconnected from the company. However, when I turned it off and on again, it worked fine. Ah well. Luckily I usually wake up at a good time.
Work was ok today. We had millions of little places to go, do one thing or another one - like getting rid of a stone etc. As it rained we spent a bit in the car and prepared everything. The calculator did not work anymore because someone stuck the memory card wrong inside. It took forever to get it out. Then we progressed fine and by the time we went into lunch break Then it rained badly again. We managed to finsih with work by 3 and got home at an ok time. Very nice. All in all a rather decent day.
When I got home, my land lord was standing outside. He was happy to see me, as he locked himself out and no one was in the house. I let him and myself in
I noticed that I have only 7 more days to stitch on Secret Santa to achieve my goal. Not sure if I can make it or not. For today, I planned to actually finished the Try out and dye some fabrics for the dogs ABC I want to finally start on. Maybe I happen to finish it all early and get to stitch on Santa for a bit later tonight …
