I was actually hoping for another happy dance and finish this square, but it did not work out. It hurts my eyes too much, getting too early too dark and is too small. I am pleasently surprised how nice the pattern looks like, though ![]()
Now I will move to knit Spartacus again to confirm the written down pattern …

Happy Dance … and mags for sale
I just finsihed with my needle roll for the linabear BB exchange. I believe - also based on Andy’s and my mom’s opinions - that it turned out lovely. Hope my secret partner will like it. Pics will be on my website when the roll has arrived.
I also have a few mags for sale or trade. Pics of the cover can be found here. Please let me know if anyone’s interested. More will come later this week.

Marks

Angela suggested adding a certificate or mark to my stuffed animals that I design. I have been using a mark or tag since a while. Preferable made from soft clay.

Mostly rambling
When I got up, I - or rather Andy - got an email. I sold Spartacus (the knitted stuff doggy) already. Wow, that’s world record. My fastest sell ever. I must admit, I actually guessed that Ann and Jerry would be very interested in buying it. Thanks
I started with my new program. I am taking daily 4-6 anti-depressiva and 1 vitamin pill. Everything is based on herbs, so there’s no real danger. Vitamin pills will hopefully help to improve and strengthen my weak, gentle health during the almost 5 months I need to work, not to mention the bird flu coming closer. The anti-depressiva is something rather bad and personal. I don’t know what it is, but I am physical and emotional so exhausted and tired. It’s a combination of everything, but I want to … a) be taken away from here, b) know what’s wrong with me, c) start a family and settle down, d) have a lovely home and e) be happy and enjoy my life. None of this will happen, as a) I will be alone for another 3+ months, b) I am scared to go to a doc as I worry he’d confirm my fears and c) my parents break me mentally every day more and I have no where to go to
That’s it. Back to stitching or knitting.
Linabear.com Updated

Hope you will like this weeks update.
Tatty Teddy

That’s how far I got today. I could have done more, but then I remembered that my needle roll for the exchange needs to be done, too
As you can see, I still did not manage to buy the white floss. Soon, I hope ![]()
Angela asked me what floss I use for Tatty Teddies. I always use Anchor. I feel the DMC conversion just does not look as right and smooth.
Cross Stitcher - March 2006
My dear friend Val send me over the Cross Stitcher as a late b-day gift - and it came today
Thanks so much Val. I shall email you later today or tomorrow
As I said in one of my comments, I believe, I will do a little review of it. I will only point out the things I really enjoy - otherwise I could write for hours
Things I like
- Tatty Teddy is great - as all of them. This time with lovely flowers. Very nice.
- The free kit is aimed at mothers day. It’s flowers which you can make into a card. Nice
- The “You’re my hero” designs are very funny and cool. I enjoy especially the Domestic Goddess.
- The dog sampler is lovely. They’re so cute, that’s fits almost perfectly my taste.
Pattern/Item of the Issue:
This is taken from the dog Sampler. I just think it’s one of the cutest things ever to be seen. Aireen would be suprised eating one day and seeing this in the bottom of her bowl
Think/Pray for my doggy
Aireen has an X-Ray appointment at the VETs today. Please pray that her cancer did not spread in lungs, heart, liver etc. Also, it’d be good if nothing grew too bad, as this meant no more surgery. Aireen’s old and the stress of a surgery would be too bad for her ![]()
