I got to stitch some on Secret Santa today and yesterday. It’s very nice and comes along great. I can’t wait to be done with it
We just got back home from being at the town center and walking around.
The first shock was going to the post office and having to pay 6 bucks for sending a magazine to the US
They must have gotten more expensive or something. I do not recall it being so expensive before … ah well. It was surely worth it
Andy bought himself a DVD. I bought a ball of yarn to make a 2nd puppy for Angela’s kids and 2 comic books (a summary of Simpsons and Hagar - which I both love). I also saw a book I want to have which is called “Die Vermessung der Welt” (means about “the meassurement of the world) which is all about my work field, and a little bit funny. Should be a great read once I get it .. I am not sure if I buy it now or just wait and see what I get for my b-day next week.
As far as learning goes, I do believe I am ok prepared for tomorrow. I should be able to make it. Doing some more calculations tonight, and that should be it, I hope …

I just finished the bookmark. Now only needing to finish and send it off.
This happened to be the last one for the EBE 3 exchange. I thought I had one more to do, but the person it’d have gotten to got blacklisted and I did not receive anything from her, so there it goes.
I am glad it is finally done. It was fun, but also a pain at times.
Vera and I just finsihed our programing report - it’s about time. We needed 4 hours today and all in all a total of about 12 - 18 hours. It was a real pain, but we’re proud and happy that we made it ourselves with almost no help
In fact, we did learn something doing it

Here are the four cute ears I knitted today
The next two pieces will be the body, and this will be tricky, but I am sure I can handle it ok ..
Pieces finsihed so far:
2 of 2 pieces for the face
1 of 1 piece for the nose
1 of 2 pieces for the back head
4 of 4 pieces for the ears

I started a bookmark, as I just realized that I am missing 2 of them for this giantic exchange I signed up for over a year ago. I decided on a blackwork bookmark, stitched in pink. It actually turns out very lovely in pink.
I am not sure about the other one. I picked a quick stitch pattern, but not sure yet.
I also need to say that I start feeling bad for not learning as much as I should have. The only thing that actually helps me over this, is that Vera did not do much either. The first test on Wednesday, however, should not be a huge problem. I already did some learning for it and it’s based on my job training.
I finished a few more pieces of popcorn yesterday. He’s getting trickier now, but still rather easy to do as it only requires to knit and not any sort of fancy pattern. Sor far, I finsihed:
2 of 2 pieces for the face
1 of 1 piece for the nose
1 of 2 pieces for the back head
This is the WIP of the 2nd piece of the back head
I finally updated my website, though 2 pics are missing. They’re going to be online tomorrow. This weeks items:
- Blackwork Bookmark
- Calendar Stitching - January
- SAL - Best Friend - Doggy
Check it out and enjoy

My mom, Andy and I took Aireen for a walk outside in the little bit of snow left here. Sadly, Aireen hurt herself a little while being outside. She once lost one claw and this one keeps growing back, but is not strong enough to be ok, so she pulls it out every once and then. However, she was first aided and is fine now - just limping as she hates the first aid protection ..

Here’s how far I got with popcorn last night. I actually would have been done with the 2nd piece, but I had to undo quit a bit as I obviously screwed up at a point and it looked too weird. Ah well.
The school report thing I talked about in this post went through first time. This was really a big relief. Now only programing and I can take in all of the 5 exams - yay. Now only needing to learn for those tests :-/
Today, I walked passed the black board (well, like where they put news up) and saw that Vera and me both passed the GIS test
Hooray!
We also did some programing. We made a good progress and actually achieved something. However after 3 hours we got stucked and stopped. We will keep going later on - like in an 30 mins. I am so tired of it. I wish it was just done …

Today, when we got up I checked out my blog and saw that the Weather Pixie said it’d snow. I don’t always believe the Pixie, but I opened a window to look outside and it really snowed!! It’s beautiful

I started knitting popcorn last night while Andy read the Star Wars book to me. I only made a few rows as after a while I got too tired to do anything. It’s really easy to knit along. I think after this one, I will design one myself and see if I can find a store to sell it

I finally got to stitch on the Secret Santa. It’s a very lovely pattern, and more difficult than Cinderella.
I think I have an idea what Mystery to start on my BB - something like a Zoo Mystery Stitch Along. Maybe something like a Zoo map they’re giving one or you find on the internet. Of course, it won’t be as big and only with selected animals, but still ….
Today, I also did the pre-GIS test again and I think this time I made it. In fact, I finsihed 45 mins before …
