Stats:
- pattern Pyewacket Socks by Kristi Schueler
- Wollmeise Sockenwolle TWIN, colourway Rhabarber (M), 252m used
- DPNs in size 2.5
- Sock size 36
- Started on the 18th and finished on the 23rd Feb 2009
Notes: I absoutely love this pattern. It was fun to knit
I am knitting this with my lovely Rhabarber Wollmeise Twin yarn - which is incredible soft. I casted on 50st and they fit fine. However, if 52 or 54 st would have been possible they would have fitted even better.

Knitted with my hand spun yarn in the colour way Eat your Veggies - Carrot. The stitches do look uneven, but after the first wash it’ll be better.

.. is all done now. They’re just wonderful. The Wollmeise yarn feels lovely on the skin and the paws are just too cute.

The pattern is actually called Guided by love, but I thought I’d dedicate it to my lovely Aireen. I am sure she’d have appreciate it. Anyway, the first sock is now done. It is my first real toe up sock I actually do like. There was an alternative construction, so the paws wander from one side to the other - which sadly does not show so well in that photo yet.

Here’s my latest finish - well, actually it was done last weekend except the finishing touch.

Yay, Pumpkin Pie is finished. It’s cloudy here, so the photo did not turn out so great. This photo shows the yarn beautifully - it looks so even in this one:

This photo shows the colour:

Yay. I am done - well, almost. The yarn is currently trying to take a little, relaxing bath and then gets to dry so there should be a good photo of it tomorrow.

The yarn should have about 4 oz and has 289m. I do not seem to be able to get over 300 lately, but the yarn is still alright.
Snoopy and me got our Winter Bunderland SWAP package today! Each item was so lovely wrapped:

So it is how everything looked unpacked:

I cannot wait to try the teas and chocolate. I never used a row counter, so I am excited to start a new project. The yarn is so soft. The teas smell fantastic. Snoopy was unable to wait to test the treats. He poked and clawed at the packages until I gave up and opened them for him.

Thank you to Louise and Billy for the lovely goods
I came home to this lovely RAK by a nice lady on Ravelry - peanut butter cup and teas

Snoopy and me also heard that our Winter Bunderland Items arrived. We’re very happy that they were liked

I started working on yet another yarn. This one is 100% Superwash and so soft. I love it. The colour way is called Pumpkin Pie and I loved it at first sight.

I spun about 1.5 oz of the 4 I have.
I did not get to take a photo of the yarn at daylight, but that’s ok. I think the photo turned out decent.

It’s 4oz with around 220m. I love the colours - they’re very pretty. I actually have 4 more oz, but I am not sure if I am not trying to spin the other four thinner.
I just finished plying Thermograph, winding it onto the chair and counting the meterage. I got 220m of yarn, 2 plied. It’s taking a little bath now and will be hanging up soon. Hopefully, I get home tomorrow at a decent time so I can take a good photo.

Out of those two singles …

… I am currently plying this yarn.

I think I am about half way through the plying. The yarn is rather interesting.
